Welcome to my "Artclass" website, which offers free art instruction articles which hopefully you will find useful. Do I hear you ask "why is she doing this for free?" Well, it's in the hope that you will be impressed enough to go and visit my main website, where you can see a few of my original paintings, and read about my books and videos! Maybe you might even like something enough to order !
First of all, let me tell you that I am an award-winning British artist, who specialises mostly in Pastel Painting, although I do work in all mediums. I write regularly for The Artist Magazine (UK), I have made 6 art instruction videos, I have 3 art instruction books published and there is another being printed right now. I have painted, and taught, for over 20 years, and I work regularly for exhibitions. My work has been shown in New York, and London, and I have originals in many collections. Prints of my work have been sold world-wide.
Over the coming months, I will post various articles at this website, (hopefully monthly at least) and they will cover a multitude of subjects and mediums. If you enjoy this first one, do come back again at some time and see if there is anything new to read.
